Kaitlynd completed a Bachelor of Science degree in the spring of 2014 from the University of Alberta. Having majored in Biological Sciences and minored in Philosophy, she has always had an interest in the moral considerations surrounding scientific technologies and treatments. This academic background combined with a personal interest in healthcare ethics led her to the Columbia Masters of Bioethics program which she hopes to complete by spring 2016. Kaitlynd’s main interests within the field include health policy and the intersection between palliative medicine and pastoral care. She hopes to pursue a career in medicine.
