Lillian Ringel is the Associate Director of the Master of Science in Bioethics at Columbia University. Before coming to Columbia, she was a Law and Policy Fellow at the New York State Task Force on Life and the Law and a research assistant for the Associate Director of the Program in Law and Public Affairs at Princeton University. She has served as counsel for a physician providing advice and perspective within the realm of health policy and represented the indigent elderly as a staff attorney at JASA-Legal Services for the Elderly in Queens.
She has co-authored articles published in the Journal of Health and Biomedical Law and the NYSBA Health Law Journal.
Lillian received her M.S. in Bioethics from Columbia University, her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law where she received a certificate in Bioethics and Medical Humanities from the Montefiore-Einstein Center for Bioethics, and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania.
