Michael Polnik is a Bioethicist with a Doctorate of Professional Studies in Bioethics Ethics and Healthcare Policy through Albany Medical College's Alden March Institute of Bioethics. His master's degree in Clinical Bioethics was obtained through the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Michael's specializations within bioethics include: Christian/Orthodox Christian bioethics, mental health bioethics, policy, and clinical bioethics. Additionally, he is starting his Doctor of Ministry at Ashland Theological Seminary.
Dr. Polnik owns and operates Stark Bioethics Consulting in Ohio. He offers advice, training, and strategies for contemporary ethical and policy issues. Michael also works as an adjunct professor of philosophy at Walsh University and Notre Dame College. He is also a Senior Fellow of the Sophia Institute - International Center for Orthodox Thought and Culture and holds membership in the Orthodox Theological Society of America.
